Scheduled & Recurring Delivery Routes
The same stops, the same times, the same driver — and one flat rate instead of a stack of individual tickets.
Cargo Taxi Deliveries operates dedicated recurring routes across Los Angeles for businesses that move the same freight on the same schedule — inter-branch transfers, lab collection rounds, parts replenishment and daily store deliveries. A route runs the same stops at the same times with a consistent named driver and is billed at a flat route rate rather than per run.
Businesses that move freight every day should not be quoting it every day. A scheduled route fixes the stop list, the timing and the vehicle, assigns a named driver who learns the back doors and the dock supervisors, and prices the whole thing as a route. It is almost always cheaper than the same work booked as individual same-day runs, and it is far more reliable, because the driver already knows that the Vernon stop takes forty minutes on a Tuesday.
Typical routes include inter-branch document and parts transfers, laboratory collection rounds, pharmacy replenishment, retail store deliveries from a central warehouse, daily production-part runs between a supplier and a plant, and end-of-day bank or records pickups. Frequency ranges from several times a day to once a week.
Routes are quoted from the stop list, the mileage, the dwell time at each stop and the window each stop has to be hit in. Dispatch will ask for all four, because a route priced on mileage alone will be wrong the first time a stop takes an hour at a dock with one forklift.

Questions
Scheduled & Recurring Routes, answered.
Is a recurring route cheaper than booking same-day runs?
Almost always, and usually substantially. A route is planned once and run repeatedly, so there is no per-run dispatch overhead and no deadhead between unrelated jobs. The saving grows with frequency: a five-day-a-week route is priced very differently from five separate same-day bookings of the same work.
Do we get the same driver every day?
Yes — a named primary driver is assigned to each route, with a backup who has been briefed on the stops and the contacts. Consistency is the point: a driver who knows which dock to use and who signs at each stop runs the route faster and gets fewer things wrong than a rotating assignment.
Can stops be added or removed later?
Yes. Routes are re-quoted when the stop list changes materially, and small additions are usually absorbed without a change in rate. Tell dispatch before the change takes effect rather than after, so the timing of the whole route can be rebuilt around it.
