White-Glove & Inside Delivery
Through the door, up the stairs, into the room, out of the box — and the packaging leaves with the truck.
Cargo Taxi Deliveries provides white-glove delivery across Los Angeles: two-person carry, delivery inside the building, placement in the room of choice, unpacking, and removal of packaging. It is used for furniture, fixtures, artwork, medical and laboratory equipment, and any item too large, heavy or fragile to leave at a kerb.
Most freight ends at the tailgate. White-glove ends wherever the item is actually supposed to live. That means two people rather than one, protection on floors and door frames, the stairs or the lift surveyed before anything is carried, assembly or placement as agreed, and the packaging taken away rather than left stacked in a hallway.
The usual freight is furniture and fixtures for homes, offices and hospitality; artwork and mirrors; medical, dental and laboratory equipment going into a treatment room; retail fixtures and displays; and large appliances and electronics. The common factor is that the item is fragile or awkward enough that a single driver and a liftgate is not a serious plan.
The thing that actually decides whether a white-glove delivery goes well is the survey, and it is the step most often skipped. Doorway widths, stair turns, lift dimensions, protected flooring, parking and the walk from the truck to the door all need to be known before the item is on the vehicle. Dispatch will ask. An item that will not go round a stair turn is better identified on the phone than on the landing.

Questions
White-Glove Delivery, answered.
What does white-glove delivery include?
Two people rather than one, delivery inside the building rather than to the kerb, placement in the room of choice, protection of floors and door frames, unpacking and assembly as agreed, and removal of all packaging when the crew leaves. It is quoted as a single job rather than as a delivery with extras added.
Will you carry an item up stairs?
Yes, within what is physically safe for two people and what the stairwell will actually allow. Give dispatch the item's dimensions and weight, the number of flights, and any tight turns or landings before booking — an item that will not make a turn needs to be identified on the phone, not discovered halfway up.
Do you take the packaging away?
Yes. Packaging and debris leave with the crew as part of a white-glove delivery rather than being stacked in a hallway for someone else to deal with. If the item is being installed over several visits, tell dispatch so the packaging removal is scheduled against the right one.
